Hi!  I am Patti Carter. I’m glad you stopped by.  I am a mother of 3 loving children, and a Grammy to one little girl, Rose (two years old) , and her little brother Jedidiah (born June 22nd of this year.) That is me pictured above with my daughter, Rebecca.

I find great delight in studying His Word, and in talking and writing about HIM. I am not perfect but it is my prayer that my life may reflect the LORD more with each passing day. It is my utmost desire to mature in Him, to find my all in Him so that I am daily at peace and at rest in Him — no matter what my circumstances.

These posts are written with the hope that in some small way God will be glorified.  C.S. Lewis once wrote, “A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.”  God’s glory is not diminished if we fail to worship Him or to glorify Him. He remains God — the Great I AM.  His glory is ever a part of Him. However, God chose to create mankind as His image bearer and to give us the great honor of glorifying Him with our life. We  glorify God by acknowledging His greatness, by letting Him shine in our life by our words and our actions. I truly believe that the greatest glory we bring to Him is when we find our greatest pleasure, our greatest satisfaction and our greatest joy in Him. That is why this site bears the title “joyfilled”.  Finding lasting joy and satisfaction in Him frees us to truly love others and to enjoy His blessings because we are not looking to find our satisfaction in people or things. It begins with a heart that desires Deity above anyone or anything.

May we determine to be a light in this dark world, a light that reflects our greatest joy is in Him, so that others will want to come to The LIGHT.

Most of these posts are written to fellow Christians–those who have faith that Jesus is the Son of God and who have repented of their sins and through faith have been immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.. (John 20:31; Acts 2:38; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 6:3-5; Colossians 2:11-12)
